This morning we went back to Al Sazon for breakfast. The restaurant was beautiful with trees growing inside and a mural on one of the walls. We went to UNACH after that and taught clapping games like "Lemonade Crunchy Ice" until our bus arrived. At Corazon de Maria, a few groups joined together to play Simon Says and Hokey Pokey outside. Everyone's lesson plans proceeded as usual. Once school was over, we all traveled to a remote place in the mountains where Israel and his family live and we learned about his story. Denielle, Ash, Dr. Wang, and Cecilia made a video for him to promote awareness in the community. After that, we went back to our house and the ride through the mountains was beautiful: there were lots of hills and fields and trees were everywhere. Kids went to the side of the street to wave to us. A few of the UCF students went back to the market to do some more shopping. For dinner, we all went to a pizza place that was really yummy. We went for ice cream after that and walked around the town a little more. At 8 pm, we met the UNACH students at Nox, a lounge that has karaoke. Almost everyone sang at least one song, so it was a really nice bonding experience.
