Day 2: Exploring San Cristobal

This morning we went to a local place for breakfast called "Al Sazon". We then met with Cecilia and took a taxi to UNACH. For about four hours we got to know the other university students and started our lesson plans. They were all very friendly and wanted to know about America and what I wanted to do for my career. After that, we met up with Ash, Denielle, and Dr. Wang for lunch at a place whose decorations were inspired by the Zapatistas. All of the UCF students then explored the market and the town a little but decided to head back home early. We made a "Welcome to our Casa" video and had an hour long photo-shoot with all the girls. At 7:30 we met some of the UNACH students for a taco dinner. It started raining so hard that the streets and sidewalks started to flood, and everyone was drenched by the time they got back home.
