Day 12: Last Day at Corazon de Maria

Today was bittersweet because it was our last day teaching. We went to UNACH for breakfast again and the restaurant owner wrote us a very kind note in English. At school, Shai visited each class and recorded some students saying three positive traits about themselves and what they want to be when they grow up. Most of them said they want to be engineers! Eventually, a few groups went outside because they asked to play frisbee. After 45 minutes, we all started taking pictures: we had a few individual class pictures, a UCF/UNACH picture, and one with everyone. All of the UCF students then had to go to the library to take pictures with all of our donated books. On the way back home, a few of us cried because we felt bad for leaving our students. Later on, Dr. Wang cooked at our place for dinner and we all had one last family meal.
