At UNACH this morning, we played the Cha Cha Slide and the Cupid Shuffle. Thankfully the bus arrived on time today! 😃 Once at school, our lesson plans progressed as usual. Many groups played board games to learn English words and did activities to learn how to construct sentences. At noon, all of the students went outside and the UCF students taught them the Macarena, Cha Cha Slide, and Cupid Shuffle. Only a handful of people (mostly girls) really got into it and participated. Ingrid also tried teaching a Mexican version of the Cha Cha Slide, and Miguel taught salsa and bachata. Later on, all of the UCF students collected the donated clothes, dolls, and dresses, and we visited four or five classrooms that were about first through third grade. Sam handed out books to the boys and the rest of us gave clothes/dolls to the girls. That night, Dr. Wang and two nurses from the UCF College of Medicine stopped by for dinner and we all talked about the program so far.

Teaching the students a dance!
